The Mission
Secure $2.5M to build out a 3,000 sf commercial grade kitchen for use as a business incubator, job training facility and food processing center for Dig Deep Farms - an Alameda County Deputy Sheriff’s Activities League (DSAL) groundbreaking initiative that promotes organic food security, reentry services and job training in the underserved communities of Ashland and Cherryland, CA.

Inspired $500K donation from Aramark.
Worked with Jim Heilbronner of Architectural Dimensions to donate a full set of architectural plans.
Negotiated Hensel Phelps donation of construction services to build out the warehouse shell to a commercial grade kitchen and storage facility.
Joe Sarapochillo’s unerring dedication to the Dig Deep Food Hub and DSAL’s preventative policing vision helped ensure food security, job training and entrepreneurial opportunity for the Ashland and Cherryland communities.
